A Porcupine man was in disbelief about winning over $100,000.
Matt Lafleur used some colourful language when the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation staff share that he'd won $118,920 in the April 50/50 draw.
"When we called him back a little while later, he told us that he had pulled up his tickets, went on our Facebook, and double-checked his numbers. He needed to see for himself that they were a match. It was at that point that he knew for sure it was real," reads the foundation announcement.
"Matt has been playing our 50/50 for quite a while, but never thought he would win. He told us that with a young family to support, he works a lot and that this will be a huge help. Initial plans are to catch up on some bills and get his truck back in working order! Matt and his wife are grateful for the win and looking forward to how it will help their family."
